Wilderness

A Daily Thought Provoker Quote

“In your walk with Christ, do you feel like your soul is dry and thirsty? Are you wandering in a wilderness with no clear sense of direction or progress

Christ has not forgotten you.

The dry season is His graciously motivating invitation for you to draw near to Him again, to get close enough to hear His heartbeat, to feel His breath, to drink of His living water, and to receive a fresh outpouring of His holy fire upon your heart’s altar.”

“Come near to God and He will come near to you.” ( James‬ ‭4:8‬a )

Not Forsaken

Are you walking through unfamiliar and rough terrain in the pitch black? Look to the Lord and pray for this passage to become a reality in your life:

“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.”

~ Isaiah 42:16

God does not forsake His children. However, He may delay for a season to see if we will forsake our dependance on our own abilities and resources, and then call upon Him. He wants to work for us by working with us.
