How do we reach this new generation with the message of Christ?
Their thought patterns, their cultures, the basis of their decisions, their perspective on life and death, their outlook on spirituality, it has all changed dramatically in the last decade here in America. The established church, in many ways, is grasping at air as they keep implementing their tried-and-true programs and techniques that seemed to work on the previous generation.

“There are 1,440 minutes in each day. How many sequential minutes do we offer to the Lord each day for spiritual intimacy with Him?
Giving thanks for our food 3 times each day at about 4 seconds each?
Praying for 3 seconds for a Facebook-posted life-or-death prayer request by a ‘friend,’ just long enough to pull up the next item in our browsing list?
Zero seconds of time spent in daily confession, repentance, and renewal?
Does our Bible reading amount to random 5-second readings of memes with scripture quotations?
At the end of the day, can we even remember anything that we have read or prayed?
Have we even connected with the available transformative power of God for our own lives?
Are we more faithful and deliberate in plugging our phones in to their chargers than we are in plugging our hearts into the heart of God for His empowerment of our lives?”
