Being One With The Universe Is Temporary, But Being One With Christ Is Eternal!

If you were to have a choice between being one with a temporary god or being one with the eternal God, which one would you choose? Which one have you chosen?

Have you chosen to become one with the universe because it gives you a sense of transcending your body, time, and space? Does it replace your sense of personal weakness with a sensation of infinite power that flows from a universal collective?

Does it give you a sense of relief from the restrictive and “hateful” guilt and “judgement” with which outdated traditions and religious, social, or cultural systems have tried to “control” you? Does your oneness with the universe provide you with a system of belief that allows your lifestyle to continue without hearing the voice of your own conscience?

If so, I appreciate that you have read this article this far. Usually “complete openness” translates to “emphatically closed” when a different point of view is brought up. I know there are a lot of voices out there vying for your attention and eventual allegiance to their message. While I too hope to have you eventually know Whom I know and have experienced, I hope that you would take this path with me not because of the force of my attitude, but due to the still and small voice of your conscience that would bear witness for you as to the validity and truth of Whom I speak of.

The universe is temporary. Regardless of one’s concept of the age of the universe, the universe and its elements are temporary. The One Who created the universe (as I see Him) has said that it is temporary, while He Himself continues to be eternal.

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells…

Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”

‭‭~ 2 Peter‬ ‭3:10-18‬

If you are a one-with-the-universe type person, you are familiar with communicating with something or someone much greater than you and I. You may have a spirit-guide or an energy that communicates with you through words, dreams, or impressions. No doubt, you really are desirous of becoming one with the ultimate being in the universe.

So, it should not be a strange thing to consider speaking into the air to a being by name. I would encourage you to speak out the name of Jesus Christ, and to ask Him to reveal Himself — to communicate with you — in some capacity of His choosing. Speak out and let Him know that if He really is The Creator of the universe, that you really want to know Him and to be one with Him.

He REALLY wants to have you contact Him in reply to His personal message that you have just read!
