Bleeding Warrior?

“And a woman was there… bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet… she grew worse.

When she heard about Jesus, she came to Him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, ‘If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.’ Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

Jesus said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.’”

~ Mark 5:25-3

Jesus healed the woman who suffered greatly for 12 years with an issue of blood.

And, He still heals today!

Do you have an “issue of blood?” Are you “bleeding?” Have you been wounded in your heart & soul? Or, do you have a perpetual, painful illness that just won’t heal? Have you spent a fortune on counsellors or doctors, yet remain unhealed?

Do you feel like a wounded warrior who must continue to fight through life without an escape from the battlefield? Do you feel exhausted and desperately need to receive healing treatment and rest so that you can return to being an effective warrior in the Kingdom of God?

The woman [whom Jesus healed] took a faith-filled prophetic step by fighting through the jostling crowd, approaching Jesus outside of His line of sight, touched Jesus’ garment.

Many theologians believe that the garment was specifically the hem of Jesus’ prayer shawl (the Jewish “tallit”) and the part of this hem that she likely touched was one of the braids or tassels (the “tzitziyot”) of the prayer shawl. These braids served as a God-ordained reminder to obey and honor all of the commands of God’s Word.

In short, the anonymous woman put her faith in God’s Word and in His prophet, Jesus! Her actions were faith-filled prophetic, practical actions; actions that in the natural were not of themselves “healing,” but through them the power of Christ flowed.

“At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from Him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, ‘Who touched My clothes?’”

~ ‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:30‬

Her touch initiated His healing power.

So, you might be wondering what faith-filled prophetic, practical step you can take so that God’s power will flow into you and heal you.

Faith and healing are not the result of a simple formula that one can duplicate like a robot.

Cry out to the Lord in prayer, wholeheartedly! Then whatever He directs you to do, THAT is your prophetic act!

I am praying for your healing, body and soul, of whatever your issue of bleeding might be.
