Reinstalling Our Factory Parameters

When God created Adam & Eve, He encoded into the man and the woman’s “operating system” a moral code with godly parameters within which desires were to be fulfilled.

Male and Female were designed to enjoy life, liberty, and to love God and each other.

When Adam and Eve abused their liberty by seeking the fulfillment of tempting desires by going outside of the parameters of their God-given operating system, a sin-virus was introduced to their system which corrupted many aspects of their hearts and minds.

Through Jesus Christ we can begin to reinstall the factory parameters of our operating system, thus diminishing the self destructive patterns of our corrupted souls.

This requires a conscious deletion of the corrupted patterns, and a conscious return to godly patterns and parameters.

“Put to death… whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.”‭‭

( Colossians‬ ‭3:5-10‬ )

Let’s Reformat, Reinstall, and Reboot our lives in accordance with God’s operating manual, the Scriptures.

Praying Like Elijah

“Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.”

~ James 5:17-18

Elijah was a human being… just like us.
Elijah prayed earnestly for a drought… like we can.
Elijah prayed earnestly for abundance… like we can.

Elijah’s prayers were answered… like ours can be.

Imagine if We All were praying earnestly like Elijah, for a drought of sin in our land, and for an abundance of righteousness in our land.

Okay, imagine if 50% of us were praying like Elijah.

Hmmm… What about 25% of us?

No? Then what about 10% of us?

Elijah was just ONE person. Imagine if just YOU were praying like Elijah for the nation? After all, YOU are a person just like Elijah.

Let’s pray like we can because our earnest praying can be answered!

Coffee Creation Day

I celebrate the dawn of every new day with a cup of coffee, thanking the Lord for everything.

However, on Tuesdays I celebrate something extra special: God created the plants and trees on the Third Day of Creation, so that means that Coffee was born on the Tuesday of Creation Week.

“Then God said, ‘Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees… according to their various kinds.’ And it was so. And God saw that it was good.”

( Genesis 1:11-12 )

How do I celebrate Coffee Creation Day on Tuesday’s? With coffee, of course!

“Thank You, Lord for creating the variety of Coffee plants and trees!”

Holy Spirit Baptism Empowerment

Early in church history the believers began to experience the Baptism with the Holy Spirit that was foretold in the Old Testament by the prophet Joel, and foretold by John The Baptist and by Jesus Himself.

Jesus described the Baptism with the Holy Spirit as a divine empowerment for ministry. Throughout the Book of Acts there is recorded numerous instances of believers receiving the Baptism with the Spirit just as the others did in the Upper Room on The Day of Pentecost.

While worshipping and praying (as they did in Acts 2), “wait for the gift” the Father promised. Jesus still equips His people with Holy Spirit Power for ministry that will impact the world, locally and globally.
